Obsessive? Yes. Procrastinator? Obviously.

Last week was my first week of school....and that definitely would be a bad thing, except for the fact that miraculously, my schedule only has me in class 3 days a week for about 10 hours total.

Problem? This leaves me with OODLES of extra time in which I have nothing to do (who studies?)

So, last week my little sister, Molly, presented me with a solution. Season 1 of The OC.

I started watching, and in 2 episodes, I was OBSESSED. Basically, I'm in love with the character named Ryan...and probably only watch the show because he's so FIIIIIIIIIIINEEEEE. If you haven't seen it, you should.

Anyways, I spent all day Thursday and Friday (and let's face it, Saturday too) watching 43 minute episodes one after another.

23 episodes later... WHOOPS! I realize I have neglected to start writing my case report that's due at 10am on Monday.

So here it is, 9:47pm on Sunday night. I am approximately 54% done with what I have to write for my case report....and all I can think about is what's going to happen on the next OC episode. Do I have time to watch one now? Surely I can squeeze in 1 episode before bed? Which one of my friends is gonna let me borrow Season 2?

In conclusion... Katie+ The OC+ case report= verrrrrrrrrry bad things.

The end.

Summer 2009 Highlights...In Pictures!

From the beginning:

Neuroscience and Spring 2009 kicked my cajones...but then my friends and I celebrated with a sleepover/birthday party...and a delicious cake my friend Chelsea made!

I went to Florida for my week off from school with my family...it was cold and windy!

I moved from my cute, solo apartment into a single bedroom in my grandmother's house.

Instead of studying for my summer class, my friends/classmates and I played in E-Squared's pool everyday!

I went to Dallas with my Dad and saw Eric Clapton in concert

I laid by the pool most weekends with my little sis, Molly

Trace came home for the 4th of July and we went to Downtown Tulsa and saw a VERY DISAPPOINTING fireworks show!

I spent 7 weeks in a hospital working PT with old people and experienced waaaay too much poop. But thankfully, there are not pictures to document this.

Moving on, I went to NYC with my parents to see SIR PAUL McCARTNEY at Citi Field! It rained.

Sir Paul played for me 33 glorious songs...about 2 1/2 solid hours

The next day I spent approximately 4.5 hours shopping on Fifth Avenue and lunching at the Plaza!

Trace and I celebrated our 1 Year anniversary together in Dallas on August 1st!

After I finished in the hospital, Trace came to Tulsa for a week and took me to Discoveryland to see OKLAHOMA!

Sir Paul came all the way to Tulsa to SEE ME AGAIN!!! Trace and my parents went with me!

At the concert I found my dream car...a yellow submarine!

Finally, Trace and I layed by the pool for the rest of the week!

Now classes have started and I'm BOREDDDDDDDDDD. Goodbye summer 2009! It was good and busy!

Old Poopers?

I am sick and tired of the following:
  • old people
  • poop
  • old people that poop
  • the diagnosis "generalized weakness"
  • old people that show you their basketball sized scrotum 5 times in one treatment
  • working 8-5
  • did I mention POOOOOOOOOOP??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I guess it's safe to say I'm sick of old people and poop...and have officially decided that working as a physical therapist in an acute care/hospital setting is NOT FOR ME!!!
